Selectable power modes allow you to dial back the power to about 70% of full power- with a milder response-to suit your riding situation, and combines with Kawasaki Traction Control for a wide range of riding characteristics.
This advanced traction control system features three different modes to fit rider preference and road conditions. Combining the best from the S-KTRC of the Ninja ZX™-10R with the KTRC settings from the Concours®14, the Ninja 1000 ABS’s KTRC offers a wide range of electronic support.
Freeway bumps and twisty canyons place very different demands on suspension, yet the Ninja 1000 ABS is a comfortable, sporty motorcycle that provides a supportive ride in both situations. A fully-adjustable 41mm inverted fork has stepless compression and rebound damping to keep the front wheel planted in turns and over bumps. In the rear, horizontal back-link rear suspension features a remote preload adjuster to facilitate quick changes for when you add a passenger or luggage to your ride.
Even with liter-class power and such a radical appearance, the Ninja 1000 ABS offers a pleasantly comfortable ride. An upright riding position is complemented by higher-mounted handlebars. Also, the rubber-topped pegs are lower, making the Ninja 1000 ABS a comfortable sportbike you can spend the day aboard enjoyably.
