- A replacement for the one-piece rear chainwheel of the Ducati 748, 916, S4R, and Multistrada 1000DS. The carrier is designed to enable the rear chainwheel to be changed without removing the rear wheel; this cannot be done with the original one piece Ducati chainwheel.
- Manufactured from 6082 T6 aluminum alloy, hard anodized to help prevent corrosion and surface damage. The center of carrier features a PTFE lined steel DU-bush, which avoids the carrier picking up on the shaft. Since aluminum is one third the weight of steel, the unsprung revolving weight which has to be accelerated and braked is substantially reduced.
