Norton Moe, out using his brand new COMMANDER! Looks like it was a great success!

SOMETIMES IT JUST MAKES SENSE TO DO IT!
"Hi Todd- great seeing you again this morning, as always. I wanted to open up an email stream with you because I’m 90% sure I want to get the 750 (photo attached). While I plan to use the bike on reasonable weather days for my Kirkland commute, a 30-day Wave2Go motorcycle pass is $94.60 vs. $211.40 for vehicle, a $117 savings in ferry fares each month or $1400/year. On gas savings, my F150 gets about 15 MPG vs. 56 MPG for the bike; that’s about 40 MPG difference- for the estimated 40 miles/day round trip this represents approximately $10.68 for the truck and $2.85 for the bike based on $4/gallon. Using the bike represents gas savings of $8/day, $40/week and $2100/year. Further, there is no ferry line waiting for the bike-I would just drive on, making my schedule more dependable.
The savings in one year for the bike are approx. $3500 based on full-time use. Assuming bike use of 60% in winter months (N-D-J-F) savings would be reduced to maybe $3000.
Please feel free to have your friend contact me if I can be of any assistance on the motorpark design and or planning. I have experience in this general area and have excellent contacts w/ city of Bremerton and Kitsap county, plus some good technical resources."
